Warner, Dexter and Dwight, former Warner Nature Center animals, all find new homes

When news broke this fall that the Lee and Rose Warner Nature Center in northern Washington County would be closing at the end of the year, staff immediately began scrambling to find new homes for the center’s animals.
As of this week, the 10 animals, including two owls, an American kestrel, turtles, a hognose snake and a tiger salamander, have all been relocated to other nature centers, zoos and aquariums in Minnesota.
